Yes, the writing was just THE BEST...and it's amazing how many things go over your head when you're a kid (I was 9-12 when I religiously watched The Simpsons)...mostly the political satire bits, the LIFE satire, and the more subtle double-entendres. Ha!

DeleteI think I've watched most if not all old Simpson episodes - they were definitely better. My favorite quotes were whenever Moe would get prank called.
