The flower crown series. (Series of photos, that is.)

So, on New Year's Eve, I put on the flower crown seen in a photo grid a few posts ago and Yogi snapped away, as is his wont.

Okay, fine, he doesn't always just grab his camera (thankfully, 'cause that'd be annoying), and there are times when I might be feeling particularly pretty and I'll ask him to take a photo or two, but there are also times when I'm feeling particularly hideous and he wants to take a photo of me then, without a lick of makeup or looking like a scrag (mind you, I only ever wear mascara/eyeliner/lippie when I do wear makeup, never foundation) (...I'm lazy), and I'm all, "Er, the hell?"

But to him, inexplicably, I don't look like a scrag in those moments so...you know, that's good. And sweet. But it shouldn't be documented with photography, is all I'm sayin'.

I'm looking uncharacteristically glum for some reason. Clearly I wasn't in the NYE spirit at that point.

Also, next time I'm totally making my own flower crown, à la the lovely TJ at His Little Lady who had a totally bitchin' flower crown made of real flowers, and said crown made an appearance in her blog picture several months ago. It also totally inspired me to make or buy a flower crown because flower crowns: pretty! Romantic!

(...and totally impractical and inappropriate in day-to-day life. Drat!)
