Roadtrippin' down Great Ocean Road is always all kinds of wonderful.
Have I mentioned how I can never tire of the gorgeous blue in Lorne and how I freakin' adore it? I have? Too many times? Well...here it is again. Ha! We cycled and ate and were merry. (It was a perfect sunny, summery day.)

(Hey, I'd be lying if I said I didn't want more followers in general -- who doesn't like to see a new picture icon pop up in their GFC, amirite? I'm sure it gives you all the warm fuzzies, as it does me. It's not a case of "You like me, you really like me!" à la Sally Field; it's more that it's nice to know that someone is interested in the drivel thoughtful posts you send out into the blogosphere, and that they appreciate the effort you put in, or that they think you're pretty all right and worth reading. I don't know how many times I've stumbled upon blogs with whacked out epilepsy-inducing bright colours, lame fonts, horrid grammar or spelling, and yet...they have hundreds of followers. Jigga wha?!)

I know all about the follower situation. How is it that the crappiest blogs get hundreds of followers and even have lots of them commenting on them? Once in a blue moon they join mine and never post more than once. I have 25 followers or something and almost none but 2 actually comment. If you can't edit your own blog to something acceptable to read, why even bother following someone who you never read the posts from? *minor rant* anyway, you won't catch me doing a giveaway because I never have anything to give away. Literally. And I'm attached to my stuff so none of that is going up on the blog. Good luck with that one :P

ReplyDeleteOh, HEYYYYYYYYYYYYY, pretty momma :) I've missed you! I feel as though I always say that when I come here, but it's true. I wish you lived closer so that we could grab a cocktail. Also, I'd love to trade places with you right about now. I just went out for a walk and it's about 15 degrees Fahrenheit right now. that's just all kinds of ridiculous to me.
